Bright and expressive, our 2022 Cabernet Franc showcases red cherry and plum, accented by black tea, tobacco, and a touch of pepper. High acidity and structured tannins bring energy and depth, leading to a bold yet elegant finish. A vibrant take on this classic varietal.
The 2022 vintage might have never started at Konnowac due to an unseasonal April cold snap that delayed bud break for three weeks. Thankfully our high-altitude site keeps the cold air rolling downhill and spared us of any cold damage. At last, the heat came in full force in July and by August we were in great shape for an outstanding vintage.
