2021 Shya Red Cabernet Sauvignon
Our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is primarily sourced from the older blocks of our Konnowac Vineyard, planted in the last 80s and quickly shows you why it's the flagship wine of our winery.
Aromas of sweet and tart berries, savory herb, wild cherry and cola. On the palate you’ll note additional dark fruit and unique umami flavors.

Production notes
This wine is the flagship of our winery. The grapes are primarily sourced from the oldest blocks of our organically certified Konnowac Estate Vineyard, which was planted in the late 80’s. These older vines best reflect the terroir of our vineyard.
The vintage in 2021 was characterized by an extremely warm “heat dome” event in June that effected the entire growing season by limiting yields to historic lows but also giving us small concentrated berries.
The wine was fermented in small one-ton tanks after which it is aged with minimal racking in French oak barrels.
Other notes
Pairs with: Prime rib and ribeye steak, mushroom crostini, lamb kabobs, cheddar and parmesan cheeses
Drinking window: Enjoy this wine from 2025 - 2040

A juicy cabernet brimming with notes of blackcurrants, dried herbs, nutmeg and pine cones. It’s full-bodied, dark-fruited and open, with silky and supple tannins and a fresh finish. Drink or hold.
