This wine is a 100% Monastrell from our estate Konnowac Vineyard in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA.
Our Monatrell showcases tart dark cherry, blueberry/blackberry, freshly crushed pepper and some game notes. With low tannins and higher acid it's a perfect food wine!

Originally from growing areas in the south east of Spain this variety is also known as Mourvèdre in France. In Washington the fruit retains great acidity due to our cool nights at harvest, giving this wine great freshness and lower alcohol levels.
Pairing Suggestions - Barbecued meats and vegetables, beef short ribs, and lentil dishes
