2022 Idilico Garnacha
Our latest vintage of Garnacha produced under the Idilico label comes partly from our own new plantings at Konnowac Vineyard (50%) and from Conley Vineyard (50%) a unique high altitude vineyard North-West of Yakima, WA in the Columbia Valley AVA. Both vineyards are certified Organic and the fruit is picked early in the seasons guaranteeing proper phenolic evolution without excessive alcohol content.
The wine was fermented in small one-ton lots and barrel aged in neutral French oak Puncheons for 8 months. The light wine is fresh and refreshing with plenty of red fruit and spice aromas. In the palate we get intense cherry, and raspberry flavors all wrapped in crispy acidity. Bottled in July 2023.
